Winter Driving

The forecast for our day of travelling was snow showers but basically a nice day ... and that is exactly what we had. The showers were sometimes snow, sometimes sleet and sometimes what appeared to be plain old frozen rain. Visibility was quite bad at times too but when it was clear the views were lovely with the most subtle of colours like watercolour across the landscape. A hint of yellow, tints of white and at times a hint of purple or violet finely brushed over the snowfields.
