Hidden gems

We had to get out of the wind! So we went into the hotels to walk in parallel with The Strip if we could. And in every hotel there are shops galore, restaurants, casino halls busier than all the streets.

George found a ceramic ornament of the classic Beatles ‘Abbey Road’ album cover… the four walking across the zebra crossing.

I found a lovely pair of boots I must save up for… decorative, delicate and blue… my favourite colour. Not very practical in Ireland though! Didn’t dare ask the price 😄

The shopping mall displays reminded me of Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.

And one shop reminded me, that when I went away in business and Abbie was small, I always brought her back a pair of fancy or Disney socks ❤️

I was aware it was a Sunday when I heard the church bells of a small church near the Encore Las Vegas. It was the Guardian Angel Cathedral. Looking at the casino halls most were unaware of its beckoning. Czytaj więcej
