We enjoyed a fine Ayurveda massage, had a very relaxing day and a fabulous dinner in the "Rithu restaurant" - just great!

Another accommodation: a tree house in Sigiriya. Looks romantic, was a nice experiance - but not very comfortable and very loud (guests in the restaurant).

After a long search we have been lucky and met several elephant groups!
Even in the mud wallowing buffalo and a proud eagle crossed our way.

In the very center of Sri Lanka (how did they measure that?) a small but fine temple was built, surrounded by a small park. Very nice!

There is the Storefield Tea factory on the route that we visited. We really enjoyed the short but interesting tour of this small, old factory. The subsequent tasting was a nice experience!

A wonderful vibrant - and still very british city - there is something going on! The postal-office is a very old colonialbuilding, which has built up in 1894 and still in operation.

A pretty little town in the mountains, although it is also touristy. Nice atmosphere with many good restaurants.

The hike to Little Adams Peak starts at our hotel and takes in total about two hours. Fernando accompanies us and brings us to the famous "Nine-Arch-Bridge".
