    I traveled to Melbourne around March time in 2013 where i stayed with my grandads cousin for a few days. He showed me around and had a few games of chess with him at the library and a game of tennis with him and his friends before moving into a hostel for the very first time. While in Melbourne I made friends with Marvin aka marv met honing, from Holland, and Kyle from northern Ireland who i still see regular and maintain a close friendship with.     Great Ocean Road Trip

    kangaroo island

    Here me and Kyle volunteered with a lovely family helping around the house, building work and chopping wood and chainsawing trees down. it was great fun and Candy the mum was amazing she always had food ready. she took us to watch her son Dylan play oz rules and toured us around the island with the other volunteer Mike from France. All in all we stayed 7 week and had a blast.Read more

    Cairns City

    After Kangaroo Island Me and Kyle moved up to Cairns where we stayed for 5 days and scuba dived the great barrier reef and had a bit of fun. We meet a few cool people that I've been to see since. I As well lost all my photos from here to. I think the only photos I have of my first time in Australia are from Melbourne and a few place down the east coast and Sydney.Read more

    Mission Beach

    From Cairns we headed to mission beach for 2 night were we did our sky dive and i have to say it was one of the best things i did in my last trip. we enjoyed mission beach so much we stayed a few extra nights and stayed in a really cool hostel where everyone chipped in for meat and we had a massive BBQ and drunk coconut water from coconuts we gathered on the beach. This was a particular highlight of my last trip and would recommend anyone to do the same :)Read more

    Magnetic Island

    Then on to Magnetic island and what a great time we had there this is such a lovely place. first night we grabs some chips with a girl we meet in cairns and watched the sunset. We also headed the the beach and to the small animal sanctuary where we held a baby croc and i concurred my fear of snake and held one, but i still hate them.Read more

    Airlie Beach and The Whitsunday Islands

    This is where we boarded a small chilled boat with 10 others and sailed around the Whitsunday islands for 3 days. Here we visited white haven beach and snorkeled as well as had one or two cups of goon ;) We had dinner in a small sand island and saw a tortoise swim up next to us while we were in the boat headed for the island it was amazing.Read more

    Fraser Island, Eli Creek, Lake Mckenzie

    Fraser island one of the best times of my 23 years on this plant.     In Byron we meet up with a friend, Kate that stayed in Melbourne with us. We all headed to Nimbin and CHILLED there HAHAHA and came back for a night out in Bryon which none of us managed as we were TOO CHILLED to do.     We arrived in Sydney and this is where I found work. Kyle flew home to attend university. I found work on my second day in Sydney just being a kitchen hand in a burger restaurant in Mosman. I managed to save 2,500 dollars and was there just over 2 and a half months not bad going. the people I worked with were all really cool and had a brilliant time in Sydney. once I finished in Sydney i moved on to Melbourne again where i Finished my Regional work.Read more

    Romsey, Melbourne home to the school i worked at for more that 2 and a half moths. This school was also one of the best places I went to during my time in Australia. it was truly a brilliant place to be and the students and teachers and grounds team I worked with were all amazing. I completed my 3 months second year visa work here as a volunteer. once this was over I headed to South Australia to stay with family before I flew home to England.Read more
