Sunday. We are off work today, so I have planned a small trip to Isle of Cumbrae. There should be four of us going, but our friends couldn't get out of bed as they had a heavy drinking night last night! Me and Grzegorz both enjoyed this trip. Lue lisää

We came back to Millport again after a round the island trip just to see some shops.
What took my whole attention was a six person bike which looked like an octopus. I don't have a clue how to drive it, but it looked so strange to me. I have never seen nothing like this before.Lue lisää

Fintry Bay

Trip round the island took only about one hour. That's including time spent for visiting and taking photos. We stopped for a coffee and a cake in Fintrybay. There's only one tearoom called High Tide at Fintrybay. Absolutely delicious apple pie!Lue lisää

Millport

Millport is the only town on the island. It's beautiful. There is a sandy beach here, a nice walkway and plenty of shops on the main street.

Ferry

On board of Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Largs to Isle of Cumbrae. It's a very small vessel called MV Loch Siora. Takes only about 30-40 cars, and the whole crossing takes only 8-10 minutes. It's very windy here and sun is gone.Lue lisää
