    Cozy home cooked meal with friends

    There’s nothing better than a home cooked meal. We had a wonderful evening walking Malmö with Todd and our friend Johanna Jonasson. She showed us an amazing park built for everyone: Folkets-Park (the people’s park) where she and her partner have a dance production company and performance space. She walked us through her neighborhood and then served us a beautiful Swedish Meatball and new potato dinner, complete with homemade gravy and topped with lingonberries. It was cozy and delicious. She followed by with a lovely charcuterie board of Swedish national day deserts. It was an absolutely delightful day.Read more

    Christiania: Copenhagen’s hippy commune

    In 1971 a group of squatters, artists and activists took over a disused military barracks on the edge of Copenhagen. They established a self-governing hippy commune called Freetown Christiania, after the surrounding district of Christianshavn. Residents began to build houses along their own experimental designs and soon Christiania had its own theatre, bakery and kindergarten. The semi-autonomous enclave is still there today and is one of the oldest and largest communes in the world.Read more

    Enjoyed our stay in Sweden. 🇸🇪 Would definitely recommend Malmö when visiting Copenhagen. Easy commute via train. Loved the small town feel (800k vs 1.5 million in Copenhagen). The More Hotel was very comfortable and affordable by Swedish standards and inexpensive by Copenhagen standards. Plus it was a former chocolate factory 🏭 so that adds bonus points.Read more

    Rented an electric ⚡️ boat for a cruise around Malmö harbor and canals. Trip advisor #1 thing to do in Malmö and I agree, it was so fun… 10/10 would do again!!!
