Dinner by Santa Monica beach

After USC tour, we rushed back to Santa Monica for this meal. It is soooooooo good!! The mussels and oysters! Unbelievable! Even it is hot by the beach, still enjoyed it all very much!

Later kids went down to the beach. I can hear myself singing City of Stars!

Today we took a studio tour at Warner Bros. Last minute request and Centurion made it happen for us!

Universal studio Hollywood

Today we came to universal studio Hollywood. Kids wanted to come. We don’t. Took only one ride of Harry Potter. One ride simply killed my whole entry. So dizzy and sick! We had to walk out back to city walk to sit down and get a drink.

Celine and Irene got express pass. I am glad they are having a good time!Read more

Athenaeum Club (Cal Tech)

This is the faculty club at Cal Tech (California Institute of Technology). This is probably one of the very best engineering school of whole world. I studied aerospace in college and I know it is the dream school for us all!

Since I could never get into this school, we decided to come to the Athenaeum Club to have a lunch! The food is good. But the environment is a bit worn out. Yet, it does not undermine the status of the place!

We are wrapping up the trip. Before heading to airport, we stopped by the Home Depot at Sunset BLVD. I heard it is the best spot to see the Hollywood sign. Not bad at all! At least we don’t have to hike under the crazy sun!

We drove down Hollywood blvd. there was the Walk of Fame and Chinese Theater.

That’s it. That is as much as I can take with Hollywood corner.Read more

Back in Taiwan

Still a lot of restriction in Taiwan for entry. But we are back! Hot and humid and inconvenient of entry. Nevertheless, it’s home!
