We are currently camped between Bathurst and Orange.
The boss has us heading home. Will have to rein him in... otherwise, he will get the bit between his teeth, and we will be home too soon.

We are currently in Cowra overnight. The weather has turned just a bit hot.

We decided to stay camped at Belanglo State Forest and do some day trips to the coast.

We had an earlier start today. As they were forecasting rain in the afternoon.

Barrington Falls

Our last falls for the area. We are really enjoying the beauty of this area. So much to see.
Belmore Falls

Another day... more lovely Falls. We kicked off with Belmore Falls. Again, it's an easy stroll to the lookout. With more of those stunning Southern Highlands veiws.
Fitzroy Falls

It's so beautiful here in the Southern Highlands. Had a nice, easy stroll to the fall lookout. The view down the valley bordered by cliffs is spectacular. But the real reason for visiting is the fall.Les mer
Berrima

Is a lovely historic town. Full of beautiful old buildings and an interesting history. It has reinvented itself into a very tasteful tourist destination.

Belanglo State Forest

We are currently free camping in the Bangalow State Forest. It's better known for the Iven Milant backpacker murders.
There is a small memorial to his victims.

National Carillon

Our last place to visit. So beautiful, to sit in the sun and listen to the music flowing from the bells in this magnificent building. A real treat.
High Court

Our second last stop in Canberra.
We were hoping to see pop into a High Court sitting, but the one slated for today was cancelled.
Was still an amazing building to visit. My favourite in Canberra.Les mer
Question Time

Back to Parliament House today. We picked up tickets for question time. I have to say I was surprised to find how much I enjoyed it.

Old Parliament House Gardens

After exploring Old Parliament house, we popped next door for a stroll around the gardens.
Most of the roses weren't in bloom yet... we seem to be out of luck with roses this trip.

The visit to Old Parliament House was most enjoyable. I do remember visiting when I was little.
You could have a good prowl around. Lots of friendly staff, with lots of interesting info.

It was interesting to check out the telstra tower. There seems to be not many places in Canberra that you can't spot it. It's shown up in lots of my photos.

National Arboretum - Dairy Hill Lookout

What a stunning place for our picnic. 360° Veiws that go on forever.
The Arboretum spreads out around this lookout. Canberra does a great job with its green spaces.
Mount Stromlo Observatory

Off to the National Portrait Gallery and The National Art Gallery.
We are definitely uncultured. A bit too much abstract and strange modern stuff for our liking.
