Arrived in Tannum Sands yesterday. Such a beautiful spot. We just love it here.
Had dinner with Rhys & Kerri-Anne last night. Kerri-Anne always spoils us.

Free camping here for the next 3 nights. Lovely and peaceful. Lots of room to spread out. Looking forward to a campfire tonight and watching the night sky.

Had a great walk this morning up the lookout. Meet a lady that had photos of when the whole valley was under water. Was fascinating to see the difference.

Tripping around the area today. Came across this pretty area. The town used to have a copper mine. A big town, 5 pubs and a railway. Now it's almost a ghost town. But they have turned the old dam that Czytaj więcej

Drove up to Sandy Point. Road in is rough, but worth the drive. Stunning open beach with crystal clean water.

Pulled off the highway to check out the wetlands. Sadly they have had no rain. The water was way down and the birds had left.

Birds love to check out where the sink drains for tiny scraps. This morning it's the Bush Turkey's.
Last stop it was the Apostle birds. Magpie are regular visiters.

Spent a relaxing morning fishing. Went to the southern creek inlet from the camp.
Just beautiful. Was on the turn of the tide. Graham hooked his first fish of the trip...But still no fish dinner 🤣

It's washing day. Once a fortnight we pull into a van park to do our washing.
