What a wealth of amazing new finds. Including 3 carnivores plants. The Pink Fountain and Common Butterfly Triggerplants and the Pigmy Sundew.

Did the drive out to Toodyay this morning. About 21ks out of Northam.

We have been free camping at Northam the last couple of day. The have a lovely RV site on the Avon River. Only takes about 10 vans.

Wongan Hills

We are currently at Wongan Hills Van Park. This is our last night. Have had a relaxing 4 days here. Starting to feel much better after my fall at Kalbarri.

Milligan Island Camp Grounds

We spent a lovely 3 days at Milligans Island. Not sure why it's called that as we weren't on an island. Great council run camp ground.

3 nights at Lake Indoon. What a pretty camp site. No free, but just a small donation.

I found this little blue fan shaped flower yesterday. The best I can make out is a Stobbs Goodenia, but by rights should not be growing this far south. Should be in the Karratha/Broome area.

Full Moon Rising

Had a full moon last night a Coalseam. After a hot day it was nice to sit out in the cool of evening.
Had some fun experimenting with different setting on my phone to take photos of the moon.

We are currently at Coalseam Conservation Park. So called for the seams of coal running through the cliffs. Was not a large enough deposit to make it viable for large scale mining.

Pink Lake @ Port Gregory

Hurt Lagoon...the pink hue is due to the presence of carotenoid producing algae.
Beta-carotene is harvested from the lake as an additive to many food products.

Cliff walk Kalbarri

Walk along the magnificent cliffs today. You can do a 8k one way walk or pop in and out that the main points of interest. We opted for the second option. Still managed to walk 11 ks today.
