Josies Herding Day

Today was Josie's day to show off her skills as a herding girl at 'Hooked on Hounds'. With all the support and energy (and time it took) to drive her to Kurrajong it turned out Josie is a Inner City slicker new age Kelpie girl who doesn't thrive on bossing around farm animals. She's the 'Greensland' version of our Country, taught from an early age not to bother any creature. Hence her efforts continued to focus on getting us involved in the excursion. She appeared much more interested in us and even made moves to invite the sheep to 'play'. We really didn't have any ambitions for Josie to turn into highly priced herding Kelpie but thought it could be a way to find her true nature and to rid herself of all that energy. Josie for sure is capable of achieving anything she puts her mind to, however today wasn't the venue for that. At least we gave her the opportunity. Will we try again? Maybe. Today was a bit more "meet the sheep" than "Kelpie Muster Boot Camp". So we will see. We guess the takeaway from today is that Josie is obviously not feeling too deprived living the high city life.
