    You can’t pass through this region of Victoria without experiencing the Ned Kelly experience. Famed outlaw bush ranger who was hanged at Old Melbourne Jail in Nov 1880.
    His epic journeys took him all the way through Victoria and into NSW.Read more

    Having been a epicurean member of Brown Bros for over 40 years it was a no brainer that we would stop and do a premium wine tasting. Our 45 minute private session for over one and half hours experiencing all the best of the premium rate collection.
    Bought a few to bring home.
    Also had to make a stop at the cheese factory.

    Last minute decision to change our route and head to the high country. This must be the cycling capital of Australia. 100’s of klms of biking trails and tracks and thousands of cyclists.
    A great spot at Tasman Parks, central and close to everything.Read more

    The beautiful historic chalet is still there although closed. Looks like the Victorian government is spending millions on it to get it functional again. Would be such a shame to let it go.

    Historic Yackandanda dates back to gold discoveries in 1852. One of the earliest gold discoveries in Australia. An extremely quaint town with a ton of history and really old buildings. i.e the pub for one.Read more

    Final resting place of the HMAS Otway. Who expects a submarine in country New South Wales. Holbrook was named after Commander Holbrook, the first naval recipient of the Victoria across in World War I. The town was originally called Germanton, probably a bit of a no way during the first Great War.
    The Otway was moved and setup here in 1996 and became the adopted home of the RAN Submariners.

    Amazing little town with a pub, a post office, and a police station. A bunch of historic 100 yr old motorcycles were touring the area and one dating back to 1906. A Norton, BSA, Harley, and some I didn’t recognise.Read more

    Came across this lovely little town established all the way back in 1830. Stomping ground of the Hall gang of bushrangers back in the 1800s.

    One interesting point was that this location was being considered as the location for Australia’s capital finally being a beaten out by Canberra.Read more

    Another great free camp off the highway. Such a strange geological structure. It looks like a giant came along snd just stacked up these rocks to create a mound. These formations are normally seen in vertical position. This one is extremely rare to have been formed horizontally. Really interesting.Read more

    Saw this stunning display of World War I and World War II aircraft at Scone, New South Wales. Beautiful collection of privately owned, warplanes and nearly all of them are still in flying condition. All but five, the rest there fly and there was two others today that weren’t there as they were on Flyovers at the Mudgee airshow.
    On Anzac Day they will all be in the air doing a flyover of the ANZAC service in Scone.
