1st time snorkeling for X. He enjoyed it though, apart from lucky Mark, we got motion sickness. Poor X tried his best hold on to his breakfast. Then we visited Phi Phi Island and had to stop there for a while. Supposedly for lunch but we were too afraid it would come back out, so grandma got us icecream (to sooth the sickness which worked very well), (thin and curled) chips, and banana with Nutella roti... sorry no photos as by this point we all just wanted to sit down.Read more

We wanted to go back (because of the motion sickness) but the captains (who coached us how to pose 😅) wanted to make sure we didn't miss a thing, so they took us to Pi Leh lagoon and Maya beach (filmed in The Beach)... just in front as it has just been shut, so we missed it again!! Heading east on a roadtrip

After getting bored, we (X and Lotte) decided after we had woken up that we wanted to go to the beach instead of staying in BKK. Grandma and uncle drove us 6 hours to Koh Chang (1st Thai island Mark was taken to when we first met in 2007). We didn't get there until very late but managed to catch the last ferry. Still it was a struggle to find an accommodation as we took two dogs with us and the weather was not so great (raining on and off), but we got to enjoy lovely meals and spent good quality time (chatting in the car) together. 😊Read more

Hoping for a nice day as it was Thai mother's day but the weather was still dull, so we decided to drive out off the island to wherever.... we thought at the time as we wanted to get out of the rain. Still others were trying to come in as we were leaving (as seen on one of the clips of cars waiting on the pier). Then we didn't get to another place until late (uncle fell asleep on the couch downstairs with the dogs). X was starving and wanted glass noodle in soup, wo we ordered a delivery for him with the cost of delivery doubled the cost of the food!Read more

A bumpy start of the journey as we were told at the check-in that Mark's ticket was not booked and the staff at the counter mentioned that it would be some fees incurred. Thanks God, X and Lotte were prayer before we were leaving the hotel near airport in BKK while Mark was taking out luggages to the front desk to wait for the shuttle van. Because the manager at the ticket desk at the end got Mark's ticket, though she said Mark hadn't done so and so, but he had!! Then Lotte got an upgrade which was nice but it would be nicer to sit together as a family. Still we arrived in Zurich tonight together. 👨‍👩‍👦Read more

Arriving late last night then getting up at 4am in Zurich to catch our early flight and arriving in the UK 🇬🇧 finally .... safe and sound (...and together ❤️).

Ps missing Thailand already esp after landing hungry but scared to buy anything in Switzerland... though love how clean it is. Thanks God, at least water can be drunk from taps and there is a free ice machine at the hotel.Read more
