Alluring Boracay
November 27, 2008 on the Philippines ⛅ 22 °C
Boracay Island is just 4 hours drive from where I live and 10 mins pumpboat ride but this is my first time to visit the famous island. Boracay is barely 7 kms long with a breadth of about a kilometer at its narrowest and known for it's white sand. They said it's more crowded now compared before but still it continues to attract tourists local and foreigners alike. It is hailed as one of the beautiful beaches around the world by travel sites. I myself and my parents were blown away by the wonderful white sand of the island.Read more

Shopping for souvenir
November 27, 2008 on the Philippines ⛅ 22 °C
Me and my mom strolled around the beach and saw a lot of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, paintings, hats and some sea shells and other souvenirs for sale. But if you are looking to do a bit of shopping in Boracay then the D'Mall is the place. It is more upscale than the Talipapa Shopping area but pricey. then after a long day of activities, you can pamper yourself with a body massage while watching the sun sets.Read more

Island hopping
November 28, 2008 on the Philippines ☀️ 17 °C
I booked an island hopping tour for me and my mom while my dad attended his Judiciary Annual Seminar. You can arrange your tour through your hotel or directly transact with many agents along the beach. Paid 650 pesos per head plus 20 for the snorkeling gears for the whole tour with buffet lunch. You share the boat with other tourists. Itinerary includes Crocodile Island, Crystal Cove, Puka Shell Beach and Panoly Beach.
You can buy coconuts along the way. It was my first time to see men in their little bancas selling coconuts in the middle of the ocean.Read more

Snorkeling in Boracay
November 28, 2008 on the Philippines ⛅ 12 °C
We went to the snorkeling site which was near Crocodile Island, across Tabisaan port in Boracay. I don't have underwater camera so I don't have photos of the corals and fishes underwater.

Exploring Crystal Cove
November 28, 2008 on the Philippines ⛅ 12 °C
Crystal Cove is a secluded island rests on a solid rock surrounded by clear green waters. There is a 150 pesos entrance fee. There are many things to do in the island; you can swim, snorkel, or have your pre-nup pictorials. And there are two caves in Crystal cove which we explored. I was a little worried of my mom coz it was so hot and the hike to the cave. But she did survive the adventure and enjoyed it.Read more

Goodbye Boracay until our next visit.
November 29, 2008 on the Philippines ⛅ 12 °C
The last day of our trip. My dad strolled along the beach early morning after we packed our things. He said indeed a beautiful island crowded but still worth a visit. We had our early lunch and ready to go home.Read more
