Walked into the town Waitomo was feeling a lot better and my knee didn't hurt. I then hitched to the town Te Kuiti where I spent a day off

Got a hitch from Whanganui to Palmerston North. Stayed at Whiowhio hut and got ready to start my trek to the Tararuas
