    Wet wetlands and good friends

    13 avril 2018, Australie ⋅ 🌙 22 °C

Mum's friend Johe works at the Wetlands Discovery centre, and we went there today. There were tonnes of mosquitoes even though we had insect repellent on. They swarmed our car! We went dipnetting and mum caught a tadpole. It was good to see a wetlands with big ponds, we've been to other ones which were dry! A funny thing was that mum's hat fell off into the pond, and we think an eel might be living in it now at the bottom of the pond.

Tonight Hannah came and brought pizzas for dinner! She is the reason for our road trip, it's her 21st birthday party tomorrow. She got off work early and it was cool she hung out with us.

VoyageurHi Heather and Mac! Yes it's been lots of fun. The wetlands were even better than we expected.
