Chance encounter in the old town

For a while now I had been toying around with the idea of a few basic language lessons, and when walking around the old town of Hội An, looking for a language class, I was pulled in an education centre by a group of Japanese exchange students who "sold" me a fruit tasting lesson as their internship project for their business studies course. It was so much fun! A local coordinator even taught me some basic words in Vietnamese (don't ask me, I can't remember already!) And then they took me to the market around the corner where I bought fruit which we then tasted or made into juice. What a fun afternoon!Read more
