Lincoln

Those is just one of those fun downtown historical renovations. Like many similar districts the train station becomes the hub. It is usually surrounded by older buildings (usually brick) that have all been renovated and been converted to offices, shops and restaurants. It was a perfect day to explore a little, eat and shop. This also becomes the area that a lot of football games are watched and celebrated. Lincoln is home to the corn huskers, Big Red. We bought a shirt and enjoyed the memorabilia. They take their rivalries very seriously, you can even buy clothing and items that say "Iowa corn is bad". And several different "Beat -(fill in rival school name)" buttons. So we bought a "Best Michigan" for laughs.
At lunch at a Mexican restaurant because we have been missing it....okay food, but either this area gets away with higher prices or I just haven't gone out enough lately....Les mer
