Regency of Iowa Mobile Home Park

We started off our trip this morning around 8:30 am and mainly spent the day driving to the Badlands. Our first stop, aside from gas, was at Frannie’s cafe in Onawa, Iowa. Brad had a hot beef sandwich and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. We saw some weird looking statues in council bluffs, Iowa when we stopped for gas. Next stop was the Corn Maze. The theme this year is Circus. We continued on for 3 more hours to the town of Wall, South Dakota where we visited Wall Drug. Brad and I had a bet of how many billboards we would see for Wall Drug starting at the first sign we saw. Brad said 50. I said 25. Brad definitely won! We stopped counting after 50. Brad had an old photo of when he visited Wall Drug when he was a kid. We recreated the photo while we were there. It was probably my favorite part of our day 1 trip. We left Wall Drug and drove about 20 minutes to Minute Man Campground. We ended the night setting up camp around 8 pm and we had shrimp and veggies for dinner.
