We made it to Fayetteville in time for a delicious lunch prepared by Joy. Packed up sandwiches for later as well and off we go! Not before donning our new t-shirts in everyone's favorite colors! Fayetteville!!!

Arrived to a warm breakfast 🍳, lots of coffee and it was time for some TV and of course snuggle time with Tucker and Roni. So nice to hang out for a few hours and not be moving and bouncing. Showers and a tub for Patrick as we were all rather dirty. Then it was time to clean the camper and unload Maddie and Gordie's stuff. Angus naturally couldn't sit still so helped Joy by tilling her new backyard garden area. Perfect stop and we certainly could have stayed longer as everyone was so comfortable and happy. Green Lake State Park

At a rest stop after entering NY we were surprised to find ourselves next to the Erie Canal that crosses the state of New York. There was even a pleasure boat in the locks.

After getting settled into our camp sites we went to see the Chittenango Water Falls. I never imagined how large the falls would be. The sound is something you can't explain.Read more

On the road to Jamestown NY

FRIDAY Day 19: long drive to Jamestown..very windy
Glad to finally make it to Hidden Valley Area Campground
Enjoyed a nice evening around campfire

SATURDAY Day 20:
Jamestown is birthplace of Lucille Ball
Went to Lucy & Desi Museum
Very interesting and fun to see pictures and props to bring back lots of memories from the TV shows!
Fun to see colors of their apartment since we had to watch shows in black and white🤣

Day 18
Walking along Erie Canal

As we started our walk to get to the Erie Canal the young buck decided to say "Hello" to us. It's fun to imagine the boats and people that used the canal to move west.

When in NY you have to try New York style pizza. I must say I enjoyed it. It's a thin and crispy crust.
