Stewart BC/Hyder Alaska

After arriving in Stewart, we headed to Hyder, Alaska just 3k away. We went to the Fish creek wildlife viewing platform.
Both grizzly and black bears can be observed at the site as they fish for chum and pink salmon in the clear shallow waters of Fish Creek and Marx Creek.
We waited with others patiently and after 2h a grizzly came along to feed. A bit distant and nightfall was fast approaching. Will be back in the early morning for another watch.Read more
