After flying to Victoria from Calgary, we were picked up by friends and hosts for the weekend, Purdy and LeeAnn. We went by boat over to Pender Island. The wind and waves were high. It was a fun ride!Leer más

Salt Spring Island

First stop Salt Spring island. Some browsing in the shops and lunch and cider tasting at Salt Spring Wild cider house
Galiano Island

Over to Galiano island for a short walk
Then a ride out to the Straight of Georgia and back to Pender. Saw starfish, crab 🦀 oysters 🐚 , seals 🦭 and orca 🐳 .
A day on Pender

Started the morning with a run. And a walk for Paul.
Heard the bagpipers at opening day of the farmers market.
Some walks at Gowland point and the Enchanted Forest on South Pender.

Morning run to Shingle bay campground. Boat ride over to Swartz Bay, taxi to ✈️.
