We awoke this morning in beautiful Corfu and set off on a tour of the Old Town. It’s such a charming and picturesque place, full of character and history. We learned a fun story about the British Governor who wanted to build a residence here. When the government refused to approve or fund it, he cleverly requested the construction of a council chambers instead—then went ahead and designed it as his dream home! After wandering the town (and picking up a few souvenirs), we found a lovely spot for yet another refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea—pure bliss. This evening we had our second booking at the Chef’s Table, featuring a Californian degustation menu (still not sure what makes it Californian!). The food itself was a bit average, but we were happy to score a window seat and enjoy the view.Les mer
