Packing is such an arduous task, but an essential one. Starting with heaps, asking questions about what's vital, what's the expected weather, what technology is needed, how much money and where is it best deposited... and most importantly what experiences would we like to have?

Ahh, the joys of independent travel. Beats getting on a train, on a bus, or a tour, because we control where we stop, where we go, how long we stay, what experiences we have. It's about being in the moment... the good and the bad, the exhilarating and the tiresome. All make up the adventure!

This trip we are blessed to have Jacky and Gerry housesitting. It takes care of Cino and our home as well. They are professionals housesits, with several year's experience and are great with our poodle and are excellent cooks as well.

Leaving is getting close now... it's down to hours and minutes till we are zipped up and ready to go!
