Day 52: Parco Savello (Orange Park)

Last stop of the busy day! We came here for a city view and hopefully a sunset. It was a lovely place to come to end your day.

We started here in Pigneto again. Today we were going to visit the Appian Way, the ancient road the Romans constructed and used to travel from Rome to South Italy (current day).

Day 53: Catacombs of San Sebatiano

The Catacombs of San Sebatiano. We didn’t go inside as it costs 10 Euro and no photo shooting inside. Instead, we went to a church which was just next to the Catacombs about San Sebastiano.

Day 54: Vatican Museum

Day 54: St. Peters Basilica

We intentionally missed the mass held in the square, so that there would be fewer people. The queue for the St. Peter’s Basilica was long, so we gave it up and chose to a quieter Basilica.

We checked out our accommodation in Pigneto this morning. Today was a transit day, we would be heading to Naples.

Caught out train at 2:15pm. Goodbye Rome! See you all in Naples.

Arrived Naples! We will be spending 10 days here, including some down time chilling!

Day 61: Piazza Garibaldi

We took the circumvesuviana train back to Piazza Garibaldi Station after visiting Pompeii.
Day 63: Piazza Cavour Metro Station

We were hoping to go to West of Naples today. We started our journey on a Linea 2 metro from Piazza Cavour to Bagnoli station.

Almost the end of Line 2 of the metro was the Bagnoli station. Here we transferred to a C1 bus to the submerged protection area.
Day 63: Gaiola submerged park

We went to this submerged park, there are more things to see under the water than above. It is a protected area, but still quite interesting to look at the connecting islands.

We went to the Bagnoli tran station to go to Fusaro!

We walked along the area and enjoyed the coastal view.

Sunset walk at Miseno, Bacoli. It is an unexpected hike, but we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
