After a lovely last sunrise at Victoria Falls we took down the tents and started a long day of driving. After a couple of hours of driving, passing by coal mines and some cows, donkeys and monkeys, we stopped at the side of the road for a lunch break / sandwiches.
After another two and a half hours of drive, we arrived at Bulawayo, the second biggest city of Zimbabwe. With our truck we've kind of been the attraction itself, as apparently the locals are not used to strangers passing by a truck 🤣. Anyway, we got an hour to stroll around and pass by the local market. Afterwards, we drove to our next campsite, just a couple of minutes away.
There, we've gotten a lesson how to place the tents correctly, what happened surprisingly fast. Unpacking the stuff from the truck to the tent got easier this time also. I'd say, we're slowly but surely adapting to the way of travelling and camping.Read more
