Our first sight of snow

Today was our last full day in Kyoto. We went back to our favourite sushi train and ate heaps- it's a great place and I wouldn't mind a sushi train like this in Darwin! I thought it would be a great idea to find a playground for the afternoon- but easier said than done! We found a good one but it was a bit of a hike so we caught the bus there.
When we stepped into the playground it looked awesome. I really enjoyed the maze and the steep slides. We played for ages- and I couldn't believe it when it started to actually snow. We tried to catch some on our tongues, but it was actually only a couple of flakes. But still exciting for me.
My favourite food in Japan is definitely gyoza. I try and have some everyday if I can! Kyoto had some good ones for sure and if course had some on my last night here.Read more
