Art, hills, beaches and bum

We woke up slightly fuzzy headed but nowhere near as hungover as either of us deserved. After a coffee at the apartment we headed out to the museum of modern art which was really good and not too wanky. We stopped for an obligatory Niçoise salad and bottle of Rose before trekking up a huge hill to see ruins of an old castle which we didn’t spend too much time on focussing on the incredible views instead. By this time we were boiling and beginning to smell like goat so decided that we needed to jump in the sea so got ourselves off the hill and into our bathers. Thankfully our apartment is about 2 minutes from the beach (pebbles just like home) so we were there and baring all in no time. The sea was so lovely and blue and not too cold. We chilled on the beach for a bit and watched some Asian girls take selfies for (not even joking) a whole hour. They looked deranged. After another pit stop at the apartment we wandered out to find somewhere to eat which involved getting lost in all the winding streets of the old town. We eventually opted for a bistro where the waiters had tricolour braces but I had creamy (!) risotto so you win some you lose some.もっと詳しく
