Polar Expeditions and a Christmas Market

This was a highlight of the trip! We were expecting another big city, but we really loved Oslo! Started the day with a walk through a Sculpture Park and then on to the Fram Museum. The Fram is the name of a boat that explored the North and South Polar regions. Those guys were crazy brave and adventurous. We saw the Opera House which was designed to look like an iceberg atop the water. Next we got to go to a Christmas Market! One of my bucket list things. It opened on Saturday and even though we didn’t see a flake of snow on this trip, it was wonderful! The smells were fabulous. Now, I want to go to all the Christmas markets in Europe.Leggi altro
