    Sydney

    August 19, 2016 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have a long and extensive wish list of places to visit. If you’re lucky enough you have already ticked off a few locations, but on the top of your list should be Sydney, Australia.

Sydney is one of the most visited cities in the world. In 2013-2014 alone over 30 million people traveled to Sydney, and it's easy to see why. From the lush beaches to the flawless architecture and everything in between, Sydney is a dream location for tourists as it offers a unique experience to all who travel there.

If you have yet to tick Sydney off your list, this article will help you fill your time in the most exciting way. Here are 6 tips for making the most out of your next trip to Sydney:

1 Travel the city and the coast

Sydney is such a beautiful city that to truly appreciate its grace you need to view it from as many terrains as possible. Enjoy the harbour and the sea by taking a water taxi from Circular Quay (https://watertaxisydney.com.au/). You can be adventurous and hire a helicopter for a unique look at the buildings. Or you can be simple and hire a car at night to take you across the city under a blanket of stars. If you need some relaxation, taking a multi-day cruise (https://www.pocruises.com.au/destinations/austr…) along the coast is a fantastic idea. Whatever you do, make sure you take time on your trip to appreciate your surroundings.

    2 Sydney Opera House Tour

Whether you have been to Sydney or not, there’s a chance you have heard of the Sydney Opera House, one of the most famous landmarks in the world. While you should do your best to see a show there, that isn't enough to understand the building's importance and significance to Australia and art in general. So, take a tour of the Opera House where you will see all of its brilliance and get a full breakdown of its history.

3 Feast your eyes on some amazing artwork

Sydney is host to some of the most brilliant art galleries in the world, so make sure you visit the Aboriginal art galleries as well as the SOHO gallery. However, the amazing art isn't limited to galleries. Take the time to visit Newtown and take the street art tour (http://www.culturescouts.com.au/street-art-tour/), where you will see some stunning pieces of graffiti.

    4 Relax on the beaches

Take an afternoon to relax from your adventurous trip and catch some sun on the beach. It's highly recommended that you visit the popular Bondi Beach and try your hand at surfing. If you still want a little adventure, you can visit the beaches of Sydney in a unique way by doing the Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach coastal walk, where a knowledgeable tour guide will entertain you with some very interesting facts.

    5 Go quad biking

Toward the end of your trip, you might want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city but still have a fun adventure. If so, take a two-hour drive outside of Sydney and go quad biking in Port Stephens. Not only is this fun, but you also get the added benefit of taking in the amazing view of the Pacific Coast drive on your way there.

    6 Meet some animals

If you visit Sydney, you HAVE to visit at least one zoo to see some of the rare and interesting animals that call Australia their home. Make a day of it and visit the Koala Park Sanctuary as well as the Australian Reptile Park, and remember to bring your camera!

The next time you visit Sydney, make sure you partake in some of the fun adventures listed above if you want to make the most of your trip.
