This is a famous prison where people were held in both ww1 and ww2. It was constructed between 1842-49 and was Prussias model penal institution and there is much more history associated with this place to discover.

Bc I had enough time, I also wanted tk cross the bridge to Słubice, Poland, it was dark so I couldnt see to much but it was nice to see this small city. You could read a lot on the bridge about the collaboration between Frankfurt and Słubice.

Finally arrived in Warsaw with a 3 hour delay now I just have 3 hours to walk around the ciry before I gonon the next bus. A good beginning for sure, immediatly 10 different scammers going to me. There was also a small park just 2 minutes south of the station

I found a little park a bit south of the train station (20 min) where I could sit for like 15 minutes and then just looking around for a bit, was pretty nice and I found a squirrel there.

Finally arrived in kaunas after a long travel, left at 8:22 and arrived at 18:50 in Kaunas the next day(+1), so in total it took around 33.5 hours. First resting for a bit and then ill walk a bit around the city center.

Akropolis are shopping centers and I just decided to walk around it, only bought a 6x6 rubiks cube tho and sat in a massage chair for 5 min, which felt really good. Not a lot of stuff for souvenirs.

I searched online if there was anything Lithuanian, sadly there werent a lot of restaurants that make it for a cheap price, so I decided to get this, the cold beetroot soup is Lithuanian tho according to google.

Kaunas Castle

I havent seen the other part of the city yet so I decided to go there in the evening with an electric scooter to give my legs some rest xd. First, I went to Kaunas castle before going on a walk around the river Neris. There is also a monument included about NATO with information on all members. Sadly the Museum itself was closed but you could see enough on the outside.

You could play a lot of sports in this part of the city (Sadly no chess clubs here) with a soccer field, basketball field, skatepark, athletics field and a playground where you can also train with weights, cycle and other workouts. There was also a statue for pope John Paul II placed who can watch over you.
In dit gedeelte van de stad kan je vele sporten beoefenen (Jammer genoeg is er geen schaakclub in deze stad) met een voetbal/basketbalveld een atletiekbaan, een skatepark en een speeltuin waarin workoutapparaten zijn geplaatst zoals gewichten en fietsen en andere workouts.
