Tomorrow morning I'm going home via Madrid. The airline offered me an upgrade to businessclas for 40Euro. What more could you want?
I just had a wonderful phone conversation with my daughter. What more do I want?
Intensive days lie behind me. Even if the start was not particularly good, the trip has developed wonderfully. I met wonderful people and some of them really grew on me. New friendships were also made on this trip and I am sure we will stay in touch.

Lastingly, the desert will remain in my memory, an unforgettable experience. Looking back, I would leave out Casablanca. In favor of Marrakech I would plan less time in Fes. I personally liked Marrakech the best. Whereby it must be said that it was easier to be on the road in a group. Last night Paula and I walked alone through the medina to the riad at midnight. The merchants pounced on us and some of them got really aggressive when we didn't want to buy anything. One said we should not even come to his country if we do not want to buy anything and has called us full of rage "skinny girls" after us We had to laugh so much. What for some an insult is for others a great compliment! So the cultures are different!Read more
