Double Lists, Double Hospitals!

Today I woke up and got an Uber to St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital for an oncoplastic list. After the first case, we went to the cafe, and the consultant got everyone a round of coffee. After delays, we did the second case of the morning. We then ran upstairs and got changed. The consultant gave me a lift to The Wesley Hospital, and we parked in the doctors' car park. After quickly grabbing lunch, I met the consultant at the surgeons' lounge. We then went to the theatre and did an oncoplastics and thyroid list. After a hot chocolate, I went home, relaxed with TV and music, and had an early night.Read more
