Texel & Sail Amsterdam

We went to Texel! Was a spontaneous Thursday adventure to the Dutch Wadden island off the coast of the Netherlands 🌴

On arrival (after the fancy ferry) we rented Dutch bikes and managed a solid 40km tour up one side of the island and through some of the main settlements. The headwind made for a challenging, but enjoyable bike ride. Felt good to smell the sea and be in nature.

Sail Amsterdam was also happening this week in the city, which is a maritime event held once every 5 years. Josh had the chance to check out the impressive ships which came through the harbour on display 🚢

Other activities have included hosting games nights, evening picnics with friends in the park, work days in Utrecht and decorating our apartment (safe to say after almost 2 months the space is feeling really cosy)!! 💐Read more
