One last thing: Community Pantry

When we left Matty at the Maui depot, we had a tonne of food, which we’ve tried very hard to use up before today.

There’s only so much you can scoff in a couple of days, so we were really pleased to find some unassuming shelves, on the side of a restaurant, announcing itself as a ‘Community Pantry’.

We’ve been leaving things each day, then when you walk past an hour or two later, gratifyingly, most of the items are gone.

Last drop off today and really hoping folk find our random ‘post camping’ offerings useful (salt & pepper, soy sauce, shampoo, a folding sieve, Thai noodles, tea towels etc!)Les mer
