Arrived at our destination… Aunt Lydia’s house in Naylor Tce Wudinna.
Second day in Wudinna spent mostly with Lydia and meeting family members.
Foggy day today in Wudinna and surrounding areas. Started with a coffee from the bakery…added some photos from around town
The Church that great grandad Frank help build with his brother John… We went to church this morning.
Nantuma (just out of Warramboo) is the name of Rolf and Anne’s property.. approx 5,500 acres. Grain (wheat and barley) and sheep grazing. Bounced around in the Ute looking over the farm with some Czytaj więcej
This is the highest point around here with extensive views in all directions. The photo’s are of the view west from about a third of the way up and then a view east from the base on the track to Czytaj więcej
A large rock (this is granite rock the same as Mt. Wudinna) with a dam and some tanks built to collect the rain water coming off the rock. Before the arrival of the pipeline this was the towns’ Czytaj więcej
The family farm is now run by Robert (Bert) who is the grandson of original John Kwaterski.
Just a quick visit to touch bases and see the old house.
