Istanbul comes to an end

After finishing our tour of The Bosphorus we got off the boat at Besiktas so that I could get an Armada Sur photo outside with my scarf. We then got the train back into town and had a walk through the Spice Bazaar up to Sultanahmet getting a pomegranate juice on the way, before returning to Sirkeci Station. Now we’re on the transfer bus heading for Halkalı station 🚉 about 50 mins away on the outskirts of Istanbul where we will catch the overnight train to Sofia in Bulgaria. The train leaves at 9:40pm and arrives just after 8am. We will need to wake up and show our passports at Kapikule, the border of Turkey and Bulgaria, at 2am-ish.Baca selengkapnya
