Marseilles- Chamonix

We were happy to leave Marseilles behind. The drive up to and through the mountains was spectacular despite detours and very winding roads. Again, photos do not do the mountains justice. Arrived at Chamonix around 4pm. Not sure which one is Mont Blanc, but it doesn't matter as the mountains are unbelievable. We had a wander around the older part of town. Had dinner at a new restaurant, which was very tasty. The views from the town are ever changing and mind-blowing.Read more
