A last minute call to swing through the Petrified Forest, and glad we did. It was stunning. First, just an amazing landscape of desert and badlands. But, the petrified wood is beautiful!

It was pretty hot, though -- 90s, maybe 100 -- so hard to spend too much time outside.Read more
