    Our first stop in Mexico wasn't much, we headed straight for the bus station. I remember feeling like the ride took forever, once we were out of the city it was dry and muted. But I was excited to see my aunts and cousins.Read more

    When we arrived, the bus dropped us off at the bottom of the hill. We walked the couple miles before we reached the top.

    A beautiful community was nestled to the side of the hill, our family has owned a ranch there for decades. Owning horses, donkeys, and pigs... they’re very resourceful with limited supplies. It’s a different way of living, but they appreciate everything... it really puts life into perspective.Read more

    A photo my father took in the late 90’s, I remember going into the church at a young age. Feeling slightly uncomfortable from the decor and murals, but interested at the same time. I vividly remember passing vendors on the street, seeing the local sights and smells of San Miguel.Read more

    We arrived back into Mexico City, my uncle lives here and we were in town for a wedding. I spent most of my time at the local corner store eating a lot of the local foods and candy. When I wasn't there I was spending my pesos at the arcade directly next store.

    In preparation for the wedding we had a large feast with the family. We had bought a cow and made many different meals... that was my first time eating cow intestine, wasn't that bad actually.
