Nong Khiaw

Today I took the minibus with one of the girls from the slow boat three hours north to the countryside retreat of Nong Khiaw. It's a tiny town with plenty of hiking opportunities and sitting by the river enjoying the weather. It was surprisingly cold this far north and I had to sleep in socks and long sleeves!
