Rotorua

After a couple of hours drive south we dropped in at Hobbiton, I didn't do the tour but we still saw the fields which look like the Shire and had a photo by the sign. The farmer who owns this land negotiated with the film company to build Hobbiton after tourists kept "discovering" location after the Lord of the Ring films and visited anyway. We explored Rotorua for the afternoon which is quaint and full of natural geothermal ponds and bubbling mud.Meer informatie
