Huka Falls & Lake Taupo

On the way to Lake Taupo we stopped at the thundering Huka falls. You can walk over a short bridge and watch the water swirling and pounding below as it pours into the lake. The water is a spectacular turquoise and the colour stays all the way down the river. Lake Taupo itself is huge but on a clear day we could see the snow-capped mountain on the other side.Weiterlesen
