Home of Buffalo wings

At Anchor Bar downtown Buffalo. This is where buffalo wings were supposedly created. The story is the owner brought friends over late at night and they were hungry. So his wife threw together some chicken wings, normally used for soup stock, and a "special" sauce. They liked it so much, they told others and they would order it at the restaurant and it took off from there.

Mark and I split spicy garlic parmesan and medium wings. Max got cheese stuffed pasta shells. The wings were a good size and the sauces were good. But the outside of the wings were dry (under the sauce). Glad we went there though.Read more
