Tag 5 - Anse Cocos

Von der Beach Bar aus wanderte ich nun noch einmal ca. 15 Minuten durch den Dschungel, um zum „Anse Cocos“ zu gelangen. Ein anderer Tourist hatte mir den Tipp gegeben, dass dort ‚gut zu schnorcheln’ sei. Und tatsächlich: Am Rand des Strands gibt es eine von Felsen umgebenes Becken, in dem die Wellen und die Strömung nur schwach waren. Hier gab es zahlreiche bunte und zum Teil sogar sehr große Fische zu bewundern. Ein sehr schöner letzter Strandaufenthalt!

From the beach bar, I walked through the jungle for about 15 minutes to reach Anse Cocos. Another tourist had told me that it was a good place for snorkelling. And indeed, at the edge of the beach there is a rock-enclosed pool where the waves and currents are weak. Here I could admire numerous colourful and sometimes even very large fish.
