We ate dinner. I had parpadelle lamb, a Cobb salad and some duck rolls. For dessert I had a cheesecake with strawberry sauce. Erik had braised ribs, a Cobb salad, shrimp cocktails and a molten lava chocolate cake with ice cream. Delicious! All of it. The portions were smaller than we remembered but our gummies are grateful. Service was subpar. We didn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes after we sat down. Then, you had to track someone down to get a refill. Hopefully it's just because they had some rotations in shifts.
The ship left the dock at 6pm. We were seated for dinner when it took off.
Sonia and Dad went to see a comedy show. Erik and I went back to the room to watch the sunset, look through the binoculars and then lay on the bed. The balcony is exactly what I had hoped for. It was even pretty dang cold so I am glad our room guy, Ari (from Bali, Indonesia), brought us some blankets.Read more
