• Polynesian Food Culture & Dinner

    We went to a brief on Polynesian culture. Basically Hawaiian food is made up of a fusion of Hawaiian, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, and Puerto Rican. The immigrants of those countries would come over to work in plantations and they brought their cultural cuisines with them.

    Erik and I went back to the room for half an hour. I had to take a hit of an inhaler because it was getting increasingly hard to breathe. My throat has been sore but when we went back to the room, I took a naproxen (Erik forced me haha 😘😝). It was a good decision!

    Then, we went to dinner.
    I ordered mozzarella sticks, and a crab cake for appetizers. Steak and shrimp and Caesar salad for entree. And red velvet cake in addition to chocolate tres leches.
    Erik ordered mozzarella sticks, crab cake, and split pea soup for appetizers. He ordered the steak and shrimp for his entree and tres leches for dessert.
    We brought some of our soda to dinner: Code Red Mt Dew.
