Brekkie

Erik found another duck on the trek to the aft of the boat for breakfast. Always duck hunt with him. He has an eagle eye. This one was tiny and clear.

For breakfast I ordered an omelet, hash browns and sausage. Erik ordered his oatmeal, grapefruit and melon, and French toast. Erik ordered honey for his grapefruit and thought he had received it but instead had put syrup on his grapefruit 😆 he asked for a new one.

I waited a good 30 minutes before I ever received my hot chocolate. I guess they felt I didn't need one today. It's not even really busy here but the servers are a bit on the slow side this AM. They must all be sleepy. I won't complain. These servers usually spend months away from their families and they do not always get to get off the ship with the rest of us.

We are seated in the corner next to the window. I love eating while watching the water. There are squalls all over the place out here. It is pretty warm out, with the nice cool drizzle. I could stay in bed and read all day in this weather, but luckily I get to watch some entertainment, also!Baca lagi
