Train Street, Hanoi, Vietnam

We tried to see a train earlier in the day, basically being ambushed by a lady while we were walking who led us to her cafe on the side of the road. Unfortunately the train never arrived, and while it was an amusing anecdote that we had to hide from police on the cafe balcony, we were disappointed to have missed the experience. Going back in the evening we were rushed again to a chair in front of a cafe, quickly served a drink and finally a train arrived - much closer than you can believe!
