Bayon Temple, Siem Reap, Cambodia

This temple is most famous for the huge amount of heads carved into the building - it seems there's one everywhere you look!

We arrived at this temple late on the first day of exploring, and I was already exhausted from the heat. You could spend a lot more time here but unfortunately we just wandered, purposefully got a bit lost, imagined we were in tomb raider, and then descended to the next temple.

We drove by quite a few times again and got to admire the massive temple, and also revisited quickly on our last day in Siem Reap before the sun set.Read more
